Why Men of Action Exists
Men of Action was built to restore identity, develop leaders, and create environments where men are seen, challenged, and transformed.
Too many men are trying to carry life alone.
Pressure to provide.
Pressure to lead.
Pressure to never break.
But behind that pressure is something deeper:
• Lost identity
• Emotional suppression
• Lack of real accountability
• Spiritual disconnection
• Isolation masked as strength
Most environments offer motivation.
Very few offer transformation.
Men of Action exists to change that.
THE ORIGIN STORY
The vision for Men of Action began in 2009.
Christopher Thomas started mentoring young and older men, recognizing something early—when a man is guided, supported, and challenged in the right way, everything about his life can change.
Over the years, that vision didn’t disappear. It grew.
Christopher and Dustin Harper spent years having conversations, refining ideas, and asking one core question:
What would it look like to build an environment where men are actually formed, not just encouraged?
In 2022, that vision became reality.
Christopher stepped out in faith and launched Men of Action. Within just a few meetings, Dustin joined him to help build what would become a structured movement.
What started as a simple gathering has become something much deeper.
A place where men are:
• Seen
• Challenged
• Held accountable
• Restored
• Developed into leaders
MISSION & VISION
Men of Action exists because too many men have gone silent where they were called to lead—laying down responsibility in their homes, their relationships, and their lives.
We exist to call men back to who they were created to be—restoring identity, breaking cycles, strengthening the mind, and building disciplined leaders who take ownership, lead with conviction, and transform everything connected to them.
Our vision is to raise a generation of men who refuse to stay passive—men who are spiritually grounded, mentally strong, emotionally whole, and fully present in every area of their lives.
Men who lead in their homes, stand firm in their relationships, build strong communities, and multiply leadership across cities and nations—restoring what’s been broken and establishing what should have never been lost.
WHAT MEN OF ACTION IS TODAY
Men of Action is a nonprofit leadership and formation movement focused on developing spiritually grounded, emotionally healthy, and disciplined men.
We serve men ages 17–65, especially those who:
• Feel stuck
• Feel isolated
• Lack direction
• Are carrying pressure alone
• Know they’re capable of more but don’t know how to get there
Through mentorship, structured development, and consistent community, we help men:
• Rediscover their identity
• Improve mental and emotional health
• Strengthen discipline and accountability
• Grow spiritually
• Step into leadership in their families and communities
This is not theory.
This is lived transformation.
How We Carry Out the Mission
Men of Action operates through multiple pathways to ensure long-term impact:
• Mentorship and leadership development
• Weekly formation environments
• Community outreach and engagement
• Curriculum and resource creation
• Strategic partnerships with organizations and institutions
This allows us to reach men at different stages and expand beyond a single environment.
OUR APPROACH
We believe real change happens when three things come together:
1. Community
Men grow faster when they are seen and surrounded by others who are serious about growth.
2. Accountability
Growth requires honesty, consistency, and responsibility.
3. Formation
Transformation takes time, structure, and intentional development.
When these are combined, men don’t just improve.
They change.
WHAT MAKES MOA DIFFERENT
Men of Action is not:
• A motivational group
• A lecture-based environment
• A surface-level community
Men of Action is:
• Dialogue-driven — men speak, process, and grow together
• Accountability-centered — no one hides long-term
• Identity-focused — we address the root, not just behavior
• Mentorship-led — leaders are actively developing others
• Spiritually grounded — truth is foundational
• Mentally strengthening — emotional health is addressed directly
We don’t just talk at men.
We develop them.

Leaders
Our Leadership
At Men of Action (MOA), our leaders embody the core values of integrity, resilience, and purpose. With unwavering dedication, they serve to guide men on their journey to growth, transformation, and impact. MOA leaders are mentors, visionaries, and change-makers, committed to fostering an environment where men can rise above challenges and build lasting legacies.
"We believe that when men grow, communities thrive. MOA is where purpose meets action, and transformation becomes a reality." -Founder Chris Thomas
Our leadership team stands ready to inspire, empower, and equip men to step into their full potential. Together, we’re building stronger families, communities, and futures.
Men of Action is not just focused on helping men grow.
We are focused on developing leaders who can help others grow.
Today:
• 40+ leaders are actively discipling others
• Men are leading in their homes, workplaces, and communities
• New leaders are being formed through structured development pathways
This is how impact multiplies.
We don’t just gather, we develop leaders
This is what development actually looks like.
Not just conversations—but real discipleship.
Not just attendance—but transformation.
This is a glimpse into what happens when someone commits to growth, stays consistent, and is developed over time.
Women of Action
As Men of Action grew, it became clear that the environment being built was creating ripple effects.
Healthy men create healthier environments.
Because of that, Women of Action was launched to develop strong, grounded women walking in identity, clarity, and purpose.
Together, these environments strengthen families and communities.
WHERE WE’RE GOING
Men of Action is no longer just a local gathering.
It is becoming a structured movement.
• Five cities have already expressed interest in expansion
• Leadership development systems are being built
• A permanent facility is being planned in Huntsville
• The long-term vision includes regional and national impact
We are building something that lasts.
Men of Action is not an event.
It is a formation environment.
It is where men stop surviving and start becoming who they were created to be.
