How We Build Men of Action

Men of Action is built through intentional environments designed to restore identity, strengthen mental and emotional health, and develop disciplined, purpose-driven leaders.

Start with a Tuesday.

Free for adults 18 and older. Food at 7 p.m.; conversation at 7:30 p.m. Central.

Men meet in person at 1500 Stevens Avenue NE, Huntsville, AL 35801. Use the front door and park in front or on either side of the church. This is our current meeting location.

Women meet online some weeks and in person on others. Contact us before attending to confirm the format and location. Childcare is by advance request and must be confirmed.

You can simply sit and listen. Sharing a personal story or praying aloud is your choice. We ask everyone to respect personal boundaries, listen without shaming, and protect others’ stories.

IN DEVELOPMENT: MARRIAGE MEETUPS & MEN’S COHORTS

We are preparing additional ways for people to grow through mentoring, relationships, and leadership. A monthly marriage meetup and a structured men’s cohort are being explored.

Enrollment is not open. Dates, duration, format, staffing, and costs will be announced when finalized. Contact us to express interest or discuss helping build the program.

WHAT WE WANT TO BUILD

A consistent, supported path for men to practice responsibility, strengthen relationships, grow spiritually, and develop everyday leadership.

This future work needs trained facilitators, appropriate screening, a clear curriculum, operating capacity, and partners. Outcomes will depend on each participant’s circumstances and engagement.

Interested in helping develop or support the program? Email info@wearemoa.org. You can join our free Tuesday gatherings while future programs are being prepared.

GROW INTO SOMEONE OTHERS CAN COUNT ON.

Leadership is practiced in everyday life: listening well, keeping commitments, taking responsibility, and helping others grow.

We develop facilitators and mentors through participation, guidance, and service. MOA reports 30+ leaders mentoring or discipling others.

Interested in serving? Contact us to discuss preparation, expectations, and the opportunities currently available.
